[ i've lost my only friend ]
not post hetaoni but just as it was starting, this'll be when they're just barely entering the mansion, but instead, it's a doomed timeline where only Lutz and Luci go, and Kuro and Gillen are the ones to come later accompanied by the Allies. if you want we can change anything about the prompt, I don't mind-
[A] deserted house in a mountain, about three hours on foot from the world summit place.
No one knows how long it has been there or who used to live in it.
Rumor had it that it was haunted.
"..I didn't think it would really be here."
The taller of the two Axis members had spoken up, arms crossed as violet eyes scanned the mansion before them. It had such a desolate feel to it, the feeling that the area seemed to be giving off was giving the male a sickening feeling to the pit of his stomach. He wasn't so sure he wanted to be around this sort of place, which made him feel a pathetic sort of fear. Of course, the German wasn't one to show fear, so he would have none of that.
"Well, what're you waiting for? I didn't walk three hours to this stupid abandoned mansion just to stand around outside and have you shit your pants or something. Let's go inside, shall we?" Luther smirked, adjusting the field cap atop his head as he shifted, heading over to the door of the mansion and opening it, grimacing at the cringe-worthy noises of the old door creaking.
"It seems this mansion hasn't been treated very well." Lutz commented, holding the door open for the Italian with a cocky expression placed upon his features. He gestured inside, one eyebrow cocked upwards in a smug sort of look.
"Well? Ladies first."
"Yeah, but you could definitely look like one." The blonde snickered in return, covering up his nervousness with apparent jokes and cocky remarks. He wouldn't admit to the fact that this place gave him a bad feeling, but this would be purely because of the Italian being around. Luciano was the one who told the nations of the mansion beforehand, after all, so it was quite "obvious" that Luciano wasn't scared of this mansion that carried such a strange and eerie aura, that gave off a looming sort of grief. Or so Luther thought.
Lutz kept cool and he followed in beside Luciano, closing the door behind him mindlessly without a second thought. That would be the last time the door would be open in his lifetime. But the two nations wouldn't know that. Maybe Luciano had a clue as to what would happen, seeing as he had gone through this same scenario with several different people before, but Lutz didn't have a single clue as to what awaited the two representations inside the mansion. "You're being awfully quiet for once." The blonde commented, shoving his hands into his pockets as he took a moment to look at the walls and doors.
"This mansion isn't as broken down as I thought it would be. Huh. I wonder why the door's so creaky and broken, then. Do you think perhaps the owner passed away recently? Or perhaps they're still around? Maybe we shouldn't be here? You never did tell us anything other than 'mysterious mansion. Might be haunted.' and that's kind of..vague, to be honest. Anything else you hear about this mansion?" The German questioned, looking over at the Italian once more as he furrowed his eyebrows the slightest bit. "..You're shaking. What's up? Is poor princess Lucia scared?" Luther grinned.
